This was another great session. I loved the pre-summit coaching example, and I thought framing the three sessions around the 3 key reasons (do the inner work, understand the ICF core competencies, and know where to go for help) was a really helpful structure. Annie tied each session to the new core competencies in a really meaningful way. The group discussion was also excellent. I'm excited to listen to event 3!
I participated in all of the events this year, and they were all SUPER! Although I am not planning to apply for an MCC, I DO want to be a masterful coach. This was my first deep dive into attempting to understand what it means to be an MCC. You can't get that from reading a book or attending a 90-minute webinar. This series was comprehensive, provided depth, and helped me to grasp the intangible skills that are the hallmarks of true masterful coaching. Thank you!
Annie created and delivered a powerful program on the impact of silence in coaching. The group discussions and examples were very helpful to me. As an ACC on my journey to PCC, I was inspired by higher level coaches continuing to grow their skills, being willing to share what they're working on, and the encouragement to continue to grow no matter what your certification level. Witnessing skilled MCC's gives me something to aim for in my coaching. The added bonus of the "Why" content was a nice surprise. It highlighted how our "Why" may be a bias for our coaching. Annie's presentation was both thoughtful, thorough and informative. As a coach working for my PCC I believed that I was an effective coach. It is now apparent that I have so much more to learn, and put into practice. I will be a far better coach because of this program.
